Unlabelled: The aim of the work was to compare the long-term results of angioplasty and coronary artery bypass grafting for 5-year follow up, to evaluate the effect of dyslipidemia, diabetes and systemic inflammation on the recurrence of angina during 5 years following operation.
Material And Methods: Between 1939 and 2005 an analysis was made of the long-term results obtained in 793 patients after coronary artery bypass grafting and in 272 patients after angioplasty followed up for 5 years. The statistical calculations were performed using Analysis ToolPak - VBA entering superstructures of the electron table Microsoft Excel 2000.
