Radiation is a curative treatment for prostate cancer that is most appropriate for the older patient or the patient with significant co-morbidities. Younger patients with a greater than ten-year survival are probably best treated with surgery unless the disease is high risk. For all patients, high-risk disease is best treated with hormones and radiation.

Methods: Patients < or =30 years of age with ES/PNET of the chest wall were entered in 2 consecutive protocols. Therapy included multiagent chemotherapy; local control was achieved by resection, radiotherapy, or both.
