The advent of 5G technology has facilitated the adoption of private cellular networks in industrial settings. Ensuring reliable coverage while maintaining certain requirements at its boundaries is crucial for successful deployment yet challenging without extensive measurements. In this article, we propose the leveraging of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and Gaussian processes (GPs) to reduce the complexity of this task.

QS ENDO Pilot - A Study by the Stiftung Endometrioseforschung (SEF) on the Quality of Care Provided to Patients with Endometriosis in Certified Endometriosis Centers in the DACH Region.

Endometriosis significantly reduces patients' quality of life and is additionally a burden on healthcare and social security systems. There are currently no quality indicators for the treatment of endometriosis. The care of patients with endometriosis must be considered inadequate.

Accuracy of ultrasound signs on two-dimensional transvaginal ultrasound in prediction of adenomyosis: prospective multicenter study.

Objective: Two-dimensional (2D) transvaginal ultrasound (TVS) is an accessible and cost-effective diagnostic tool for the detection of adenomyosis. Different ultrasound features related to adenomyosis have been described, but the predictive value of each ultrasound sign and their combinations requires further investigation. We aimed to analyze the accuracy of 2D-TVS and describe possible combinations of ultrasound signs with a high predictive value in the diagnosis of adenomyosis.

Diagnosis and Treatment of Endometriosis. Guideline of the DGGG, SGGG and OEGGG (S2k Level, AWMF Registry Number 015/045, August 2020).

The aim of this official guideline published and coordinated by the German Society of Gynaecology and Obstetrics (DGGG) in cooperation with the Austrian Society for Gynaecology and Obstetrics (OEGGG) and the Swiss Society for Gynaecology and Obstetrics (SGGG) was to provide consensus-based recommendations for the diagnosis and treatment of endometriosis based on an evaluation of the relevant literature. This S2k guideline represents the structured consensus of a representative panel of experts with different professional backgrounds commissioned by the Guideline Committee of the DGGG, OEGGG and SGGG. Recommendations on the epidemiology, aetiology, classification, symptomatology, diagnosis and treatment of endometriosis are given and special situations are discussed.

The #Enzian classification: A comprehensive non-invasive and surgical description system for endometriosis.

Advances in preoperative diagnostics as well as in surgical techniques for the treatment of endometriosis, especially for deep endometriosis, call for a classification system, that includes all aspects of the disease such as peritoneal endometriosis, ovarian endometriosis, deep endometriosis, and secondary adhesions. The widely accepted revised American Society for Reproductive Medicine classification (rASRM) has certain limitations because of its incomplete description of deep endometriosis. In contrast, the Enzian classification, which has been implemented in the last decade, has proved to be the most suitable tool for staging deep endometriosis, but does not include peritoneal or ovarian disease or adhesions.

The cost-effective, but forgotten, medical endometriosis therapy: a prospective, quasi-randomized study on progestin therapy.

Endometriosis represents nowadays a real burden for the patients as well as for the physicians, as it requires surgical and/or medical treatment, often long - termed and repeated. Moreover, the high costs necessary to diagnose and treat endometriosis represent a real economic burden, being comparable to other chronic diseases like diabetes or rheumatoid arthritis. Therefore, the physicians dealing with this disease should take into account not only the efficacy of the treatment, but also the economic aspects and patients compliance.

Diagnostics and Therapy for Malignant (Degenerate) Colon Endometriosis - Three Case Reports.

Malignant degeneration of colon endometriosis is a very rare event. We report here on three cases. A 48-year-old woman with a 10-year history of endometriosis was treated for a rectal adenocarcinoma, a 61-year-old G1P1, who was operated at the age of 40 years for ovarian endometriosis and again at the age of 53 years for an endometriosis-associated endometroid ovarian carcinoma, presented for therapy for a lymph node recurrence of the ovarian cancer and, secondly, due to a malignantly degenerated rectum-sigmoid colon endometriosis; furthermore a 54-year old woman with a 21-year history of endometriosis was operated for malignant colon endometriosis.

National German Guideline (S2k): Guideline for the Diagnosis and Treatment of Endometriosis: Long Version - AWMF Registry No. 015-045.

In this guideline, recommendations and standards for optimum diagnosis and treatment of endometriosis are presented. They are based on the analysis of the available scientific evidence as published in prospective randomized and retrospective studies as well as in systematic reviews. The guideline working group consisted of experts from Austria, Germany, Switzerland, and the Czech Republic.

Different progestins in the treatment of endometriosis - are there relevant differences?

Oral progestins without an estrogen component have been described to be effective in the treatment of endometriosis. Several different substances have been tested, which are on the one hand derivatives of the natural progesterone or of the C-17-OH-progesteron, or on the other hand derivatives of C-19-nortestosteron. Their common characteristic is the secretory transformation of estrogen primed uterine endometrium for which different dosages are necessary because of their different biological activities.
