In 2016, Exercise is Medicine Greenville (EIMG), a comprehensive clinic-to-community approach that involves PA assessment, recommendation and/or prescription and provider-based referral of patients to community-based PA programmes, was launched by Prisma Health in Greenville, South Carolina, USA. Since inception, variability has emerged in adoption and implementation, impacting patient reach, referral rates and engagement in the community-based PA programmes, highlighting the need for closer evaluation and refinement of strategies to maximise programme impact.

Laves phases are an interesting field of research when it comes to structural chemistry and physical properties. Background: The absence of force feedback (FFB) is considered a technical limitation in robotic-assisted surgery (RAS). This pre-clinical study aims to evaluate the forces applied to tissues using a novel integrated FFB technology, which allows surgeons to sense forces exerted at the instrument tips.

Methods: Twenty-eight surgeons with varying experience levels employed FFB instruments to perform three robotic-assisted surgical tasks, including retraction, dissection, and suturing, on inanimate or ex-vivo models, while the instrument sensors recorded and conveyed the applied forces to the surgeon hand controllers of the robotic system.

The goal of this consensus document is to provide guidance regarding pleural drains in 5 specific areas: (1) choice of drain, including size, type, and number; (2) management, including use of suction vs water seal and criteria for removal; (3) imaging recommendations, including the use of daily and postpull chest roentgenograms; (4) use of digital drainage systems; and (5) management of prolonged air leak. Racial differences in physical activity engagement, barriers, and enjoyment during weight loss.

Objective: Aiming to identify potential intervention targets to achieve more equitable outcomes from behavioral weight loss (BWL) programs, the current study examined whether Black and White individuals experienced similar increases in physical activity (PA) engagement, perceived PA barriers, and PA enjoyment during an 18-month BWL program.

Method: Adults ( = 290) enrolled in an 18-month BWL program from 2014 to 2016 completed accelerometer-based measurements of moderate-to-vigorous PA and self-reported measures of PA barriers and enjoyment at months 0, 6, 12, and 18.

Results: Black participants had significantly fewer minutes of PA than White participants at baseline, 6, 12, and 18 months.

Symptom-specific improvement across therapies and their putative mediators: A mediation network intervention analysis.

Objective: We evaluated differential treatment effects on specific symptoms and their mediators for Cognitive Behavioral Analysis System of Psychotherapy (CBASP) and Supportive Psychotherapy (SP) in persistently depressed patients.

Method: We conducted a Bayesian mediation network intervention analysis with data from a randomized controlled trial comparing CBASP and SP. Three networks were calculated to investigate (1) differential treatment effects on specific symptoms, (2) differential treatment effects on the potential mediators interpersonal problems and social functioning, and (3) associations between change in symptoms and change in the potential mediators.
