This paper presents methods for the investigation and visualization of spatial, physical and physiological data acquired by wearable sensors. Several clustering methods and descriptive statistics are combined. Based on graph theory, an individual network was constructed depending on daily physiological and activity data.

The aim of the present study was to present a novel machine-learning model, the Computer-based Infant Movement Assessment (CIMA) model, for clinically feasible early CP prediction based on infant video recordings.
Methods: The CIMA model was designed to assess the proportion (%) of CP risk-related movements using a time-frequency decomposition of the movement trajectories of the infant's body parts.
Background: The time required to analyse RNA-seq data varies considerably, due to discrete steps for computational assembly, quantification of gene expression and splicing analysis. Recent fast non-alignment tools such as Kallisto and Salmon overcome these problems, but these tools require a high quality, comprehensive reference transcripts dataset (RTD), which are rarely available in plants.

Background: Trauma-induced coagulopathy seen on rotational thromboelastometry (ROTEM) is associated with poor outcomes in adults; however, this relationship is poorly understood in the pediatric population. We sought to define thresholds for product-specific transfusion and evaluate the prognostic efficacy of ROTEM in injured children.
Methods: Demographics, ROTEM, and clinical outcomes from severely injured children (age, < 18 years) admitted to a Level I trauma center between 2014 and 2018 were retrospectively analyzed.
Introduction: Medical responders are at-risk of experiencing a wide range of negative psychological health conditions following a disaster.
Aim: Published literature was reviewed on the adverse psychological health outcomes in medical responders to various disasters and mass casualties in order to: (1) assess the psychological impact of disasters on medical responders; and (2) identify the possible risk factors associated with psychological impacts on medical responders.
Methods: A literature search of PubMed, Discovery Service, Science Direct, Google Scholar, and Cochrane databases for studies on the prevalence/risk factors of posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and other mental disorders in medical responders of disasters and mass casualties was carried out using pre-determined keywords.
Particle dispersions provide a promising tool for the engineering of functional materials that exploit self-assembly of complex structures. Methods: Prospectively collected data from the Pragmatic Randomized Optimal Platelet and Plasma Ratios trial were analyzed. Hemostasis was predefined as no intraoperative bleeding requiring intervention in the surgical field or resolution of contrast blush on interventional radiology (IR).
Aims: In the absence of randomised data, we aimed to compare the transapical ACURATE and transfemoral ACURATE neo with the SAPIEN 3 prosthesis using propensity matching.
Methods And Results: From 2012 to 2016, 1,306 patients at three German centres received either the ACURATE/ACURATE neo prosthesis (n=591) or the SAPIEN 3 prosthesis (n=715). Through nearest neighbour matching with exact allocation for access route and centre, pairs of 329 patients (250 transfemoral, 79 transapical) per group were determined.
Background: Hemodynamically unstable patients with severe pelvic fracture are a significant challenge to trauma surgeons and have high mortality. Significant variability across institutions in hemorrhage control adjuncts used to quell pelvic bleeding has been demonstrated. However, the effect of these methods on time to definitive bleeding control, type of resuscitation given, and outcomes remains unknown.
