Wegener granulomatosis involves both the respiratory and genitourinary systems. Kidney lesions are invariably focal. Wegener granulomatosis only rarely affects other genitourinary organs and, until now, has not been described as a mass in the kidney.

A case report of prostatic carcinoma metastasizing to the penis is presented. Review of the literature revealed only 54 cases reported to date. With survival rates ranging from two to six months, the prognosis is gloomy.

The rapid increase in the number of vascular surgical procedures done has led to a new class of iatrogenic ureteral injuries. Vena caval ligation, bilateral lumbar sympathectomy, bypass procedures and abdominal aortic aneurysmectomy produce the majority of these injuries. Established principles useful in the repair of iatrogenic injuries following a gynecologic or colonic operation often are inapplicable.

The cobra-shaped distal ureter is not pathognomonic of a ureterocele. It may be seen with incomplete distal ureteral obstruction owing to tumor or calculus. The appearance of the wall surrounding the dilated distal ureteral segment is a more important finding to differentiate a ureterocele and a pseudoureterocele.
