Objective: Motivational Interviewing (MI) is an evidence-based approach to enhance patients' motivation and is increasingly in demand in medical practice. Online teaching methods offer advantages to train health care professionals, but only very few studies examined whether MI-specific interviewing skills (""MI-skills""), and especially MIspecific attitudes (the "MI-spirit"), can be taught online and whether learning gains differ from those in face-to-face courses. KG-Hub-building and exchanging biological knowledge graphs.

Motivation: Knowledge graphs (KGs) are a powerful approach for integrating heterogeneous data and making inferences in biology and many other domains, but a coherent solution for constructing, exchanging, and facilitating the downstream use of KGs is lacking.

Results: Here we present KG-Hub, a platform that enables standardized construction, exchange, and reuse of KGs. Features include a simple, modular extract-transform-load pattern for producing graphs compliant with Biolink Model (a high-level data model for standardizing biological data), easy integration of any OBO (Open Biological and Biomedical Ontologies) ontology, cached downloads of upstream data sources, versioned and automatically updated builds with stable URLs, web-browsable storage of KG artifacts on cloud infrastructure, and easy reuse of transformed subgraphs across projects.

A sample of 2669 participants (771 World War II veterans, 1898 civilians) was drawn from the Honolulu-Asia Aging Study.

Effects of Military Service on Marital Stability Among World War II U.S. Veterans of Japanese Descent.

Introduction: This study had two goals. First, we investigated how World War II (WW II) military service impacted marital stability during men's young and middle adulthood in a large community sample of American men of Japanese descent. Second, within a subgroup of WW II veterans, we assessed how the level of combat exposure affected marital stability.

Using the Oxford Foot Model to determine the association between objective measures of foot function and results of the AOFAS Ankle-Hindfoot Scale and the Foot Function Index: a prospective gait analysis study in Germany.

Objective: After cross-cultural adaption for the German translation of the Ankle-Hindfoot Scale of the American Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society (AOFAS-AHS) and agreement analysis with the Foot Function Index (FFI-D), the following gait analysis study using the Oxford Foot Model (OFM) was carried out to show which of the two scores better correlates with objective gait dysfunction.

Design And Participants: Results of the AOFAS-AHS and FFI-D, as well as data from three-dimensional gait analysis were collected from 20 patients with mild to severe ankle and hindfoot pathologies.Kinematic and kinetic gait data were correlated with the results of the total AOFAS scale and FFI-D as well as the results of those items representing hindfoot function in the AOFAS-AHS assessment.

Background: Histamine 4 receptor (H4R) antagonists are considered as new therapeutics for the treatment of atopic dermatitis (AD) and first clinical trials have already shown promising results. Histamine 1 receptor (H1R) antagonists are traditionally used to treat AD although the evidence for the efficacy is weak. The combined blockade of both, H1R and H4R, might provide synergistic anti-inflammatory.

PTSD Care Among Veterans With and Without Co-Occurring Substance Use Disorders.

Objective: This study examined whether a co-occurring substance use disorder contributed to disparities in receipt of Veterans Health Administration (VHA) posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD) specialty care or psychotherapy.

Methods: Logistic regression, controlling for sociodemographic characteristics, was used to examine predictors of PTSD care among 424,211 veterans with confirmed PTSD (two or more PTSD diagnosis encounters) who accessed care in a VHA facility between fiscal years 2009 and 2010.

Results: Overall, 16% of veterans had PTSD and a co-occurring substance use disorder diagnosis.

Patients And Methods: Data from 768 colonoscopies reported by 28 centers were registered in an online database for further analysis. Binary logistic regression was used to determine how preparation methods affected the cleaning effect (Aronchick score) and the rate of adverse events (Aes) and complications.
