Objective: to know the social and family relationships of pregnant women and to analyze their influence in keep smoking during pregnancy.

Method: it is a descriptive-exploratory study with a qualitative approach, which had as subjects 10 pregnant smokers. Data were collected from January to March / 2015, through interviews, and organized into graphical representations of the genogram/ecomap and discourse units.

By increasing the health promotion actions in the Family Health Strategy it is possible to contribute to implement comprehensive care. Nevertheless, technologies gap still hinder the process of training the professionals to analyze the health potentials of the population. The present study describes the composition, the qualification, the salary investment, the workforce produce, and discusses users' accessibility in terms of time at Basic Health Units (BHUs). The study was performed at two BHUs from January to December 2008, and developed by analyzing administrative documents. In both, the composition of professionals according to education level revealed: 21% with a university degree, 27% with a secondary education, and50% with a primary education; showing a positive salary variation.

The objective of the present study is to assess the use of medication by pregnant women; classify them regarding therapy group and its risk category; and identify the cost of these drugs. The sample is formed by 47 pregnant women, in the 20 to 29 year-old age group, from July 2001 to June 2003, in the city of São Paulo. A specific instrument was used for data collection in family charts and others from the Sistema de Informação da Atenção Básica (Primary Care System Information).

This study is about low-risk pregnant women attended by a family health unit. It aims to describe the time resource the health staff invested and to analyze its configuration in the prenatal monitoring process.
