Can the Newer Model of Breast-Specific Positron Emission Tomography Reduce the "Blind Area"?

: Breast-specific positron emission tomography (PET) provides higher sensitivity and spatial resolution than whole-body PET/CT, but it has a blind area. Mammary glands near the chest wall sometimes present outside the field of view (FOV). A newer, dedicated breast PET (dbPET) model has a cylindrical detector with a larger diameter than previous models, so it is expected to eliminate or reduce blind areas.

Reverse encoding distortion correction for diffusion-weighted MRI: Efficacy for improving image quality and ADC evaluation for differentiating malignant from benign areas in suspected prostatic cancer patients.

When supplemented to the culture medium of mushroom Coprinus cinereus, rice husks soaked beforehand in methanol stimulated mycelia growth up to a concentration of 80 mg/ml dose-dependently, whereas the non-treated stimulated mycelia growth up to 20 mg/ml.
