Purpose: This study aims to evaluate the inter-observer variability in assessing the optic disc in fundus photographs and its implications for establishing ground truth in AI research.
Methods: Seventy subjects were screened during a screening campaign. Fundus photographs were classified into normal (NL) or abnormal (GS: glaucoma and glaucoma suspects) by two masked glaucoma specialists.
Purpose: To evaluate the discriminative power of optical coherence tomography (OCT) and optical coherence tomography angiography (OCTA) images, identifying the best image combination for differentiating glaucoma from healthy eyes using deep learning (DL) with a convolutional neural network (CNN).
Methods: This cross-sectional study included 157 subjects contributing 1,106 eye scans. We used en-face images of the superficial and choroid layers for OCTA-based vessel density and OCT-based structural thickness of the macula (M) and optic disc (D).

A few cases of ocular inflammation were reported previously showcasing HL with absence of typical symptoms of HL at presentation. Acknowledging the potential ocular inflammation associated with HL can prompt ophthalmologists to broaden their diagnostic approach and collaborate with internal medicine departments to investigate this rare yet significant etiology.

Purpose: In this retrospective case series multicentric study, we assessed the efficiency and safety of micropulse transscleral cyclophotocoagulation (MP-TSCPC) among several types of advanced uncontrolled glaucoma cases. This study was intended to be a real-life study.

Background: To evaluate the relationships between Reichert Ocular Response Analyzer (ORA) parameters corneal hysteresis (CH) and corneal response factor (CRF) and ocular dimensions, age and intraocular pressure.
Methods: Two hundred and twelve eyes of 212 participants with no ocular pathology had CH and CRF measured with the ORA. Intraocular pressure (IOP) was measured with the Dynamic Contour tonometer and central corneal thickness (CCT) was also evaluated.
Purpose: To compare corneal hysteresis (CH) and corneal resistance factor (CRF) measured with the Ocular Response Analyzer(®) tonometer (ORA) between (i) African normals and treated primary open-angle glaucoma (POAG) patients and (ii) between normals and treated POAG Caucasians. Purpose: The Pascal dynamic contour tonometer (DCT) allows measurement of intraocular pressure (IOP) independently of corneal properties. It records, simultaneously, haemodynamic IOP fluctuations and the difference between the systolic and the diastolic IOP corresponding to the ocular pulse amplitude (OPA).
