Households catastrophic health expenditure among older people with noncommunicable diseases: A cross-sectional study from Iran.

Background And Aims: Noncommunicable diseases are one of the main difficulties faced by older adults in many countries. The study aimed to investigate the households' catastrophic health expenditure (CHE) among older people with noncommunicable diseases.

Methods: This cross-sectional study was conducted between October and December 2022 in Semnan, Iran, with the participation of 400 older individuals suffering from diabetes and hypertension.
