[Restitution of bioactive ceramic material "Syntekost" by a newly evolved bone in experiment].

Peculiarities of reparative processes of bioactive ceramic material "Syntekost", as well as reaction of structures of internal ear on these material, transplanted on osteal bulla in guinea pigs for experimental model of antromastoidotomy creation, were studied up. The signs of its resorbtion were mild, and these processes not always paralleled the osteal tissue evolvement. A newly formed osteal beams were observed up to 90-th day.

[Investigation of adhesive properties of polypropylene net prosthesis "ESPERA"].

Adhesive towards the cells properties of three polypropylene net prostheses (PNP), manufactured by "Espera", with the slots size 1 x 1 mm, 2 x 2 mm, 2 x 4 mm and one specimen (the slot diameter 1 mm) on the oxycellulose background, were tested for prognostication of hernioplasty results, using nonresorbable PNP. The adhesion degree and peculiarities of cellular line, obtained from embryonal kidney of pig, put on the tested nets specimen in conditions of cultivation during 5 - 10 days were estimated, using inverted microscope in regime of phasic contrast. The data obtained witness the lowered cellular adhesion towards PNP "Espera" without oxycellular background.

[Inhibition of the stellate cells using lisinopril and lovastatin for prophylaxis of pancreatic stump fibrosis after performance of distal resection in a model of chronic alcoholic pancreatitis].

Complex application of lisinopril (inhibitor of angiotensin-converting enzyme) and lovastatin (inhibitor of HMG-CoA reductase) inhibits pancreatic fibrosis in the rats, having alcoholic chronic pancreatitis after distal pancreatic resection (DPR). Lisinopril and lovastatin were injected to the rats after DPR in dose 10 mg/kg during 3 weeks. Immunohistochemical markets, such as alpha-smooth-muscle actin (alpha-SMA), desmin, glial fibrillary acidic protein (GFAP), vimentin, and expression of matrix metalloproteinase-1 (MMP-1) as well as inhibitor of matrix metalloproteinase-2 (TIMP-2) were detected for estimation of therapeutic impact on activity and quantity of stellate pancreatic cells.

[Inhibition of pancreatic stellate cell activation by lisinopril for prevention fibrogenesis in experimental chronic alcoholic pancreatitis].

Lisinopril (angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibitor) attenuates fibrotic changes in pancreas after distal pancreatectomy in rats with experimental alcohol induced chronic pancreatitis. Lisinopril was administered after distal pancreatectomy in rats with experimental alcohol induced chronic pancreatitis. The animals were treated with lisinopril at the dose of 10 mg/kg body weight per day for 21 days after operation.

[Creation of models of incomplete external lip-like large bowel fistula in experiment].

The method of experimental simulation of the incomplete external lip-like large bowel fistula creation was elaborated on experimental animals for studying of possibilities forapplication of hyperthermic methods of the fistula channel obliteration and disinfectioning of the neighboring anterior abdominal wall tissues. There were studied up microflora and bacterial seeding of the large bowel contents in the zone of a fistula exit as well as dynamics of changes of inflammatory processes, occurring in tissues of anterior abdominal wall, neighboring the external orifice of a fistula channel.

[Investigation of the method of electric welding of organs and tissues on the models of clinical operations in experiment].

A new method of sutureless connection of tissues during surgical procedures was developed. Potentialities of the method of electric welding of biological tissues in abdominal surgery are studied. For this purpose an investigation of regeneration processes in the area of using electric welding on the large intestine as well as the liver under conditions of intact tissues and against the background of hyperglycemia and atherosclerosis model was performed.

[Functional and morphologic changes in the tendons and multimicrovacuolar collagen absorbing system of the three-phalanx fingers in disorder of arterial inflow].

Taking into account the fact, that unsatisfactory results of treatment of the thumbs traumatic damage are significantly caused by presence of anatomic disruption of the thumbs palm's own arteries with chronic tissue ischemia occurrence. One of consequences of damage of the three-phalanx thumbs interphalanx joints and the thumbs palm's own arteries is a formation of quickly progressing secondary flexing contracture of proximal interphalanx joints (PIPHJ). In the investigations accomplished there was established, that the changed tissues of the flexors tendons and their sheaths, forming cicatricial blockade distally to the primary trauma site, are taking part in a PIPHJ contracture development while arterial perfusion presence.

[Synthetic materials used in surgery and their transformation in organism].

Our experience of elaboration and introduction of various synthetic materials proves trustworthily the necessity of conduction of a long-term complex investigations by various scientific centers with the objective of creation and application in Ukrainian surgical practice a medical materials of own production as accessible, safe and qualitative preparations. And more, the Ukraine may implement such programs, taking into account a great scientific-technical power she owes.

[Experiment study of multimicrovacuolar absorbing collagenic system and its role in trophic processes of nonsynovial part of the tendons].

The arterial inflow disorder and occurrence of an acute and subsequent chronic ischemia constitutes frequent complication of a hand and fingers trauma. One of the consequences of ischemic damage of tissues is formation of a flexor contracture of fingers, involving the flexors tendons. In extrasheath zone the blood supply is secured by paratendon--a connective tissue, taking part in the tendons sliding.

[New directions of hypertermic surgery in experiment].

Mechanisms of influence of thermal stream towards living biological tissues were studied. Bacteriological investigations of infected, purulent wounds before and after their thermostream processing were conducted. There was substantiated the possibility of the method usage for sanation of subfascial massively infected purulent wounds.

[Experimental aprobation of the thermo-squirt method of treatment of infected and purulent wounds of the soft tissues].

The influence of thermo-squirt processing on sanation of infected and purulent wounds of soft tissues was investigated in experiment. The possibility of application of the elaborated method for the wound surface disinfection and the tissues healing processes stimulation was proved.

[Using hypertermal methods in spleen resection in experiment].

Experimental study of hyperthermal methods usage in spleen-saving surgery are presented. Means of plasmic and thermal flow spleen resection, which were proven to be effective and reliable were developed. Comparative analysis of different method application has shown equatable results for hyperthermal methods and their advantage over sutural and gluing methods.

[Comparative characteristics of methods for the hepatic tissue conjunction in its wedge-like resection].

As a result of investigation for accessible and secure method for the biotissues conjunction, using physical facilities, the plasma and thermoflow welding was developed, efficacy of which was confirmed doing comparative analysis of data, obtained while applying the adhesive and suture methods.

[Technical peculiarities of the argon-plasma welding of gastrointestinal walls wounds in experimental environment].

A new method of the live biological tissues connection, using thermal energy of a high-temperature argon plasma, constituting perspective trend of application of a new nonsuture methods of the tissues connection, original for the world practice, was elaborated in the Department of Experimental Surgery together with the Institute of welding named after Academician E. O. Paton NAS of Ukraine.

[Inhibition of mutagen activity of colon metabolites by normal microbiocenosis].

Ames bacterial test system on strains Salmonella typhimurim TA 98 and TA 100 was used the detection of mutagen activity of the fecal extracts from 52 persons. Preliminary bacteriological analysis a qualitative and quantitative compound of intestinal microbiocenosis was investigated. Data of microbial maps has allowed to part a surveyed contingent on two groups, the first, consisting of 12 persons, without the expressed microecological deflections of standard content of the basic representatives of a resident microflora, and, the second, consisting of 40 persons, with the significant depression of population level of Bifidobacterium and Lactobacillus at fecal specimens.

[The plasm welding of the digestive system organs in experiment].

The plasm welding of the gut organs--perspective trend, which permits to increase the surgeon possibilities in performance of operative intervention. The results of operations, performed on large intestine and stomach, trusts, that it is possible to apply the streams of the high temperature gas plasm for the tissues dissection and connection. There are such advantages of the method, as the operation time shortage, simplicity in manipulating "Plasmomed" apparatus, absence of foreign bodies in the connection zone, high degree of hemostasis achieved.

[Experimental substantiation of the method of biological tissue welding in surgical hepatology].

Application of the welding method for biological tissues in hepatobiliary surgery was experimentally substantiated. In 14 pigs (25-30 kg body mass) resection of one hepatic lobe, using electric welding method, was done. In control group (4 pigs) the similar operative intervention was accomplished, using conventional method.

[Experimental application of electrocautery in biliary surgery].

The testing of a new nonsuture electrothermic method of biliary system tissues connection was conducted in laboratory animals--rabbits and pigs. Reactions of tissues and cells in zone of electric influence and the gallbladder suture, remote reactive changes in the operation zone were studied up. In application of the proposed method of the regeneration processes inhibition and specific pathological changes in surrounding tissues were not noted, speed of the damage structure restoration was comparable with such in the tissues connection using suture materials.

[Microbiological monitoring of the microbic strain stability to antibacterial preparations in surgical in-patient clinics].

While performing of microbiological monitoring, conducted in surgical stationaries of Dnepropetrovsk, of 775 cultures, isolated during one year from patients and outer space, the S. aureus cultures were revealed, resistant to methicillin were 23.6%, to gentamycin 12.

[Pathomorphological aspects of the inflammatory process in soft tissues during the ozone application in the experiment].

In 35 white rats of Wistar line abscess of soft tissues was modelled. In animals of principle group influence of ozone-oxygenous gaseous mixture with concentration of ozone 0.1 mg/m3 times daily during 10 min were applied.

[Immunoenzyme technique for detection of natural antibodies to bradykinin in cardiovascular diseases].

A method for detecting natural antibodies to bradykinin by ELISA has been developed. A polymeric matrix model of peptide antigen has been synthesized for this purpose. Optimal conditions for detecting antigen and antibodies in the sera of donors and cardiovascular patients have been chosen.

[The effect of the microenvironment of the liver tissues on the dynamic resorption of hemostatic resorbable materials and of adhesive compositions].

In experiment there was studied up the cells and tissues reaction on implantation of hemostatic alginate material "Gram-1", "hemostatic gauze" preparation, fibrinous glue composition and sulfoacrylate adhesive glue MK-3.
