Background: Cancer is a deadly disease, which is due to the uncontrolled division of cells with abnormal or unusual characteristics. It is a consequence of lethal mutations occurring due to various chemical and physical carcinogens, affecting many cellular signalling pathways and leading to uncontrolled proliferation.
