Twin reversed-arterial-perfusion syndrome (TRAPS) is a rare complication of monochorionic twin pregnancies. TRAPS is characterized by the hemodynamic dependence of a "recipient" twin from a "pump" twin. The "recipient" twin exhibits lethal abnormalities, such as acardia and acephaly.
