Our study aimed to prospectively evaluate the psychiatric findings and language skills in patients diagnosed with ESES and to determine the immune modulatory treatment-responsive subgroups. We assessed the patients for psychiatric features and language skills at the baseline and 12 months after.

Examination of language, cognitive, and mathematical skills in childhood endocrine diseases.

Introduction: Children diagnosed with endocrine disorders may exhibit atypical development and may encounter challenges in language, academic, and cognitive skills, as well as social-emotional issues. The objective of this study was to identify potential therapeutic requirements in the areas of language, cognition, and mathematical skills among children with endocrine disorders who experience school failure. This will enable an early evaluation of speech and language disorders and the planning of interventions to be possible.

Electrophysiological evaluation of alterations in penile sensation due to penile prosthesis implantation in patients with erectile dysfunction.

Objective: The present study was aimed to determine the effect of penile prosthesis implantation (PPI) surgery on penile sensation by evaluating the penile electromyography (EMG) variables.

Methods: The research was designed as a prospective study. Thirty patients who were diagnosed with organic erectile dysfunction and had underwent PPI surgery between January 2017 and January 2018 in the Urology Clinic of Antalya Training and Research Hospital were included in this study.

Background: Antibiotic-loaded bone cement (ALBC) is commonly used in the treatment of periprosthetic joint infections (PJIs) to increase the local concentration of antibiotic at the site of infection. Use of ALBC has been associated with rare instances of acute kidney injury (AKI) despite low systemic absorption of the nephrotoxic antibiotics; however, the incidence of AKI is unknown. The purpose of this study was to determine the incidence of and risk factors for AKI associated with ALBC.

Introduction: The electrical status epilepticus in sleep (ESES) accompanies a wide spectrum of focal and generalized epilepsies, which manifest with cognitive-linguistic regression. Both ESES and language impairment can be seen in self-limited focal epileptic syndromes of childhood (SFEC). The association between the presence of ESES pattern on the EEG and the severity of the language impairment has not been adequately clarified.

Diagnosis of Testicular Torsion and Differentiation From Other Pathologies Using Near-Infrared Spectroscopy.

Permanent Impairment of Language Functions in an Adolescent Case of Autoimmune Encephalitis.

Introduction: In pediatric and adolescent population, autoimmune encephalitis (AE) may present with a wide variety of symptoms including cognitive regression accompanied with loss of language skills. Robotic-assisted laparoscopic radical prostatectomy: Initial outcomes of 500 cases.

Introduction: We aimed to present our experience of robot-assisted laparoscopic radical prostatectomy (RARP).

An early diagnosis of Cushing syndrome is warranted; however, in clinical practice, it is very challenging partly because of resemblance with other common conditions (ie, pseudo-Cushing syndrome).

Introduction: To evlauate role of peritoneal re-approximation methods in the prevention of symphtomatic lymphocele formation in patients underwent transperitoneal robot-assisted laparoscopic prostatectomy (tRALP) and extendeded pelvic lympadenoctomy (ePLND).

Materials And Methods: Between January 2016 and April 2020, 120 consecutive patients who were administered anterior t-RALP and ePLND were analyzed retrospectively. In group 1 (n = 40), peritoneal approximation was not performed after t-RALP and ePLND application, peritoneal half re-approximation was performed in group 2 (n=40), and peritoneal full re-approximation was performed in group 3 (n=40).

This study presents optimization and prediction of tribological behaviour of filled polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) composites using hybrid Taguchi and support vector regression (SVR) models. To achieve the optimization, Taguchi Deng was employed considering multiple responses and process parameters relevant to the tribological behaviour. Coefficient of friction (µ) and specific wear rate (K) were measured using pin-on-disc tribometer.
