Scoping review to compare the sphygmomanometer and pressure biofeedback unit in assessing core muscle strength.

Background: A strong core is a key to stability, posture, and strength. To reduce back pain and improve functional movement deep abdominal muscles are targeted. Use a sphygmomanometer for reliable, objective core muscle strength and stability measurements based on the resistance applied.

Normative value of deep neck flexors muscle strength measurement using pressure biofeedback unit and sphygmomanometer: An observational study.

Purpose: To find out the normative value of deep neck flexor muscles strength using pressure biofeedback unit and sphygmomanometer.

Methods: The healthy individuals both male and female aged between 18 and 25 years were recruited by stratified random sampling method from a tertiary hospital. The procedure is performed with the patient in supine lying with the neck in a neutral position.

Efficacy of neural mobilization and Maitland accessory mobilization in patients with tennis elbow- randomized controlled trial.

Objective: The objective of the study was to evaluate the efficacy of Maitland accessory mobilization and neural mobilization in patients with tennis elbow.

Method: Twenty-five patients meeting the selection criteria were randomly assigned to three experimental groups: Group C (conventional treatment), Group B (neural mobilization), and Group A (Maitland mobilization). Quality of life was assessed using the Patient Rated Tennis Elbow Evaluation (PRTEE), while pain, range of motion, and grip strength were evaluated using the Visual Analog Scale (VAS), a universal goniometer, and a handheld dynamometer.

Effects of Manual Therapy in Somatic Tinnitus Patients Associated with Cervicogenic and Temporomandibular Dysfunction Domain: Systematic Review and Meta Analysis of Randomised Controlled Trials.

Despite manual therapy has been used as an effective treatment but there is limited of literature emphasizing its role to improve quality of life and pain pressure threshold in patients with somatic tinnitus. In this Meta analysis we compared the effects of manual therapy on quality of life and pain pressure threshold in the patients with somatic tinnitus associated with cervicogenic and temporomandibular dysfunction domain. We systematically searched different databases such as Pubmed, Google Scholar and Scopus to find out the relevant studies compairing the effects of manual therapy with quality of life and pain pressure threshold.
