In this study, fouling mechanism and modelling analysis of synthetic lignocellulose biomass and agricultural palm oil effluent was studied using polyethersulfone (PES) ultrafiltration (UF) 10 kDa membrane. The impact of process variables (transmembrane pressure (TMP), pH and concentration of feed solution) on lignocellulosic flux was analysed using pore blocking model. The feasible approaches on utilising deep learning artificial neural network (ANN) to predict smaller flux datasets are studied.

Consequently, the WGD that occurred in the common ancestor of horseshoe crabs ~135 million years ago provides a rare opportunity to decipher the evolutionary consequences of a duplicated invertebrate genome. Here, we present a high-quality genome assembly for the mangrove horseshoe crab Carcinoscorpius rotundicauda (1.

Patients And Methods: A cross sectional study was carried out among 990 private school children aged 12 years old in Dilsukhnagar, Hyderabad city. OHRQoL was assessed by 16-item Child Perceptions Questionnaire (CPQ), and Oral hygiene was evaluated using Simplified Oral Hygiene Index (OHI-S), and Dentition status and Treatment need.
Introduction: Pregnancy is a natural process that may create some changes in different parts of the body including the oral cavity. These changes will lead to oral diseases if enough and timely care of oral cavity is not taken. Women may experience increased gingivitis or pregnancy gingivitis beginning in the second or third month of pregnancy that increases in severity throughout the duration of pregnancy.

It is noted that mishri use is more commonly used by the women of low socioeconomic status, hence the need was felt to conduct this study among women mishri users of slums. Also, the consequences of mishri use are little known, hence an effort is made to find out its ill-effect on oral health.

Patient had the elevated inflammatory markers indicating active inflammatory process. Such hitherto undocumented phenomenon may have important clinical significance in disease evaluation, thus provide a feasible option to document and follow up, active valvular involvement in patients with active rheumatic fever.

Objectives: Statins are the group of lipid-lowering drugs commonly used to control cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases. Statins have potential anti-inflammatory effect by blocking the intermediate metabolites of the mevalonate pathway. The objective of this study was to evaluate the anti-inflammatory effect of statin medication in chronic periodontitis patients.

A simple, selective and robust reverse phase high performance liquid chromatography-electrospray ionization-tandem mass spectrometry (ESI-MS/MS) method for simultaneous quantitation of pioglitazone (PIO), pioglitazone metabolite M-IV - hydroxypioglitazone (OH-PIO) and metformin (MET) in human plasma using deuterated internal standards (IS) is developed and fully validated as per industrial practices. After acetonitrile-induced protein precipitation of the plasma samples; PIO, OH-PIO, MET and IS were chromatographed on reverse phase column and analyzed in the multiple reaction monitoring in positive ion mode. The ion transitions were monitored at m/z 357.

Materials And Methods: Chromatographic separation of the drugs was performed by using a Phenomenex-ODS-3 (C-18) column (250 × 4.60 mm, 5 μm) with a mobile phase consisting of methanol:acetonitrile:15 mM potassium dihydrogen phosphate (pH 4) in the proportion of 40:35:25 (v/v) at a flow rate of 1 ml/min.
