Ciliated hepatic foregut cysts (CHFCs) are rare congenital cysts of the liver that originate from the embryologic foregut. Despite an increase in incidence, they remain rare and several key characteristics remain poorly understood, including the range of presentation and the risk of malignant conversion. Large, symptomatic cysts and small asymptomatic, atypical cysts should be resected.
