Given the importance of early detection of adults at higher risk of falls, we evaluated the ability of machine learning to classify fall risk in adults across the lifespan using wearable sensors embedded in a smartshirt. We evaluated the classification performance of binary and multiclass fall risk classifier models using SciKit Digital Health in adults across the lifespan.

State-of-the-art strategies use various technologies, including positioners, shakers and acoustic actuators, which often combine limited versatility of mixing with significant inefficiency, energy consumption, and noise, as well as tendency to increase the temperature of the liquids.

Sample & Setting: Three cohorts of older adult survivors of BC diagnosed before 1995, from 1996 to 2005, and from 2006 to 2015 were examined using the Surveillance, Epidemiology, and End Results-Medicare Health Outcomes Survey linked databases.

Methods & Variables: HRQOL was measured using the Veterans RAND 12-Item Health Survey.

Introduction: This study aimed to investigate the patterns of practices of radiation oncologists (ROs) and urologists in Australia and New Zealand with respect to the utilisation of post-prostatectomy radiation therapy (RT) and help guide the development of an update to the existing Faculty of Radiation Oncology Genito-Urinary Group post-prostatectomy guidelines.

Methods: ROs and urologists with subspecialty practice in prostate cancer from Australia and New Zealand were invited to participate in an online survey comprised of clinical scenarios regarding post-prostatectomy RT.

Results: Sixty-five ROs and 28 urologists responded to the survey.

A strange case of Transthyretin Cardiac Amyloidosis in the Elderly: a diagnostic challenge.

Transthyretin (TTR)-related cardiac amyloidosis is a progressive infiltrative cardiomyopathy that mimics hypertensive, hypertrophic heart disease and may go undiagnosed. We here report the case of a 83-year-old woman, which has rapresented an unique case of transthyretin-related cardiac amyloidosis, as a patient with an initial diagnosis of hypertensive heart disease later develops an infiltrative cardiomyopathy due to amyloid deposits.

Aims: In this study we evaluated the effect of pharmacological treatment with AnxA1-derived peptide Ac in an experimental model of toxicity induced by cisplatin.

Main Methods: Male rats were divided into Sham (control), Cisplatin (received intraperitoneal injections of 10 mg/kg/day of cisplatin for 3 days) and Ac (received intraperitoneal injections of 1 mg/kg/day of peptide, 15 min before cisplatin) groups.

Background And Purpose: Atrial fibrillation (AF) cardiac radioablation (CR) challenges radiotherapy tracking: multiple small targets close to organs-at-risk undergo rapid differential cardiac contraction and respiratory motion. MR-guidance offers a real-time target tracking solution. This work develops and investigates MRI-guided tracking of AF CR targets with cardiac-induced motion.

Single-Fraction vs Multifraction Stereotactic Ablative Body Radiotherapy for Pulmonary Oligometastases (SAFRON II): The Trans Tasman Radiation Oncology Group 13.01 Phase 2 Randomized Clinical Trial.

Importance: Evidence is lacking from randomized clinical trials to guide the optimal approach for stereotactic ablative body radiotherapy (SABR) in patients with pulmonary oligometastases.

Objective: To assess whether single-fraction or multifraction SABR is more effective for the treatment of patients with pulmonary oligometastases.

Design, Setting, And Participants: This multicenter, unblinded, phase 2 randomized clinical trial of 90 patients across 13 centers in Australia and New Zealand enrolled patients with 1 to 3 lung oligometastases less than or equal to 5 cm from any nonhematologic malignant tumors located away from the central airways, Eastern Cooperative Oncology Group performance status 0 or 1, and all primary and extrathoracic disease controlled with local therapy.

The psychoanalysis-neurosciences interface: A proposal for a hypothetical unification of psychoanalytic models.

Grotstein's concept of projective transidentification led the author to reconsider the reasons that have led to the plurality of psychoanalytic models. The solution proposed is the existence of a fundamental frontal-occipital oscillatory dynamic, responsible for the projective-introjective dynamic that is at the basis of psychoanalytic theory and, at the same time, of the development and maintenance of mother-infant attunement. Such an oscillatory dynamic, according to this perspective, operates as a "bridge" between two seminal theoretical models of development - the psychoanalytic and the infant research model.
