Objective: Establish a radiologist-run consultation clinic to review breast density and supplemental screening exams (SSEs) directly with patients in response to breast density reporting laws.

Methods: Breast radiologists opened and staffed a clinic for formal patient consultations regarding breast density and SSEs. An IRB-approved questionnaire assessed patient knowledge of breast density, SSEs, and encounter satisfaction.

The pelvic venous system is complex, with the potential for numerous pathways of collateralization. Owing to stenosis or occlusion, both thrombotic and nonthrombotic entities in the pelvis may necessitate alternate routes of venous return. Although the pelvic venous anatomy and collateral pathways may demonstrate structural variability, a number of predictable paths often can be demonstrated on the basis of the given disease and the level of obstruction.

An adult lymphoma patient developed Cushing syndrome after short-term, high-dose dexamethasone administration and presented with a distinctive Cushingoid fat redistribution pattern and associated increased F-FDG uptake in white adipose tissue. Recognition of the unique F-FDG uptake manifestation may aid in the diagnosis of this iatrogenic syndrome and avoid image misinterpretation.
