FOLFIRINOX is one of the most effective reference regimens in the 1st line treatment of locally advanced (LA) and metastatic pancreatic cancer (mPC), despite its high toxicity. The concept of larynx preservation in locally advanced laryngeal or hypopharyngeal squamous cell carcinoma has evolved during the last three decades, especially with the advancement of nonsurgical strategies.
