It was aimed to examine the orbital region in children with autism spectrum disorder and comparison with the healthy controls in the present study. A total of 195 children and adolescents (101 of them were in the autism group, 94 of them were in healthy group) were evaluated. Anterior view photographs were taken, and endocanthion (en), exocanthion (ex), and pupil were determined bilaterally on the photographs.

Materials And Methods: A total of 203 children were evaluated (ASD = 72; ADHD = 61; HC = 70). Diagnoses of ASD and ADHD were ascertained according to Schedule for Affective Disorders and Schizophrenia for School-Age Children - Present and Lifetime Version (K-SADS-PL).

The purpose of this study is to explore whether eye movement desensitisation and reprocessing (EMDR) is an effective therapy and to investigate whether EMDR affects anxiety levels for children and adolescents. We conducted this study with 30 clients. The clients completed self-administered questionnaires Child Post-Traumatic Stress Reaction Index Scale and The State-Trait Anxiety Inventory.

In this paper, we aimed to determine the compliance with the minimum acceptable technical parameters for prostate mpMRI defined by PI-RADS v2 in tertiary care centers in Turkey.
Methods: We sent a survey to all radiology departments of tertiary referral hospitals in Turkey (n=120) to evaluate their adherence to PI-RADS v2 technical specifications.
Basilar invagination, Platibasi, increased tentorium angle, and posterior fossa hypoplasia are the anomalies associated with Chiari malformation. When Chiari is symptomatic; tonsillary ectopenia appears to be a definitive criterion for diagnosis and treatment, the detection of additional anomaly may alter the surgical outcome. The aim of this study is to investigate the relationship between tonsillar ectopia and other anomalies.

Here, the Potassium Iodide (KI)-mediated PDI effect on Enterococcus faecalis using Toluidine Blue Ortho (TBO) as photosensitizer (PS) has been evaluated, and subsequent Biofilm formation extent is accounted for.
Methods: The comparative photoinactivation of TBO and TBO/KI on E.
Insufficient cleaning, the complex anatomy of the root canal system, inaccessible accessory canals, and inadequate penetration of irrigants through dentinal tubules minimizes the success of the conventional endodontic treatment. Laser-assisted endodontic treatment enhances the quality of conventional treatment, but each laser wavelength has its own its own limitations. The optimal parameters for the antibacterial efficiency of a new wavelength, 1940-nm Thulium Fiber Laser, were firstly investigated in this study.

The affected nerve becomes thicker, and it simulates a mass lesion. Lipomatosis usually affects the median nerve and lipomatosis of the sciatic nerve is extremely rare.

However, excessive thermal effects limit the use of lasers for debonding purposes. The aim of this study was to investigate the optimal parameters of 1940-nm Tm:fiber laser for debonding ceramic brackets.

We hypothesized that FV provides reliable information regarding tissue perfusion in patients with peripheral arterial disease (PAD).
Material And Methods: The study comprised 38 patients (72 legs) with PAD.
Developmental venous anomaly (DVA) is a common lesion formerly known as venous angioma. DVAs drain normal brain parenchyma; however, parenchymal abnormalities surrounding DVAs have been reported. Unilateral putamen and caudate calcification in the drainage territory of DVAs has so far been reported in 7 cases, all with deep venous drainage.

Background Data: Cleaning and shaping the root canal system during endodontic treatment produces a smear layer and hard tissue debris. Three irrigation techniques were tested for solution infiltration of this layer: positive-pressure irrigation, passive ultrasonic irrigation, and laser-activated irrigation.
Purpose: Rhabdoid glioblastoma (rGB) is a recently described, highly aggressive brain tumor, in which glioblastoma (GB) is associated with a rhabdoid component. So far only 21 cases have been reported and its imaging findings have not been studied in detail. In this paper, we present 11 additional cases and aim to depict detailed magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) features of this tumor in comparison with the previous cases of rGBs and our cohort of typical GBs.

We investigated how interferon gamma (INF-γ) and interleukin 13 (IL-13) are involved in the TLR4 ligand-induced regulation of interleukin-8 (IL-8) effects on gingival epithelial cells.

Material And Methods: The study included 105 patients that presented to the Ondokuz Mayıs University Faculty of Medicine Psychiatric Outpatient Clinic and met the DSM-IV-TR diagnostic criteria for panic disorder. The Structured Clinical Interview for DSM-IV-TR Axis I Disorders (SCID-I), Panic Attack Symptom Checklist (PASC), Structured Clinical Interview for DSM-III-R (SCID-II), Beck Anxiety Inventory (BAI), Anxiety Sensitivity Index (ASI), Panic Disorder Severity Scale (PDSS), and Panic and Agoraphobia Scale (PAS) were administered to all the patients.
Since the early 1990 s, lasers have been used experimentally for debonding ceramic brackets. Lasers reduce the required debonding force and risk of enamel damage. However, the thermal effect during the laser radiation on dental tissues can cause undesirable results.

A 15-year-old boy was diagnosed with CBPS according to the typical clinical, and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) features. The patient was suffering from atypical absence seizures, repeating daily in spite of antiepileptic drug therapy, since age 7 years.
