Objectives: Adverse drug reactions (ADRs) are among the leading standalone causes of morbidity and hospitalisation and contribute substantially to an increase in healthcare expenditure. Repeat ADR events, although difficult to quantify, are a recognised problem that lead to preventable suffering for the patient.
