View Article and Find Full Text PDFAmid ambitious net-zero goals and growing demands for freight logistics, addressing the climate challenges posed by the heavy-duty truck (HDT) sector is an urgent and pivotal task. This study develops an integrated HDT model by incorporating vehicle dynamic simulation and life cycle analysis to quantify energy consumption, greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, and total cost of ownership associated with three emerging powertrain technologies in various truck use scenarios in China, including battery electric, fuel cell electric, and hydrogen combustion engine trucks. The results reveal varying levels of economic suitability for these powertrain alternatives depending on required driving ranges and duty cycles: the battery electric for regional-haul applications, the hydrogen fuel cell for longer-haul and low-load driving conditions, and the hydrogen combustion engine to meet high power requirements.

Methods: Fifty-nine patients with glial tumors located nearby the eloquent area, operated by the same surgeon, were included in the study. Between 2008 and 2012, 21 patients were operated on without IOM (non-IOM); between 2018 and 2021, 38 patients were operated on with IOM.
Clustered regularly interspaced short palindromic repeats (CRISPR)/CRISPR-associated protein 9 (Cas9) application for targeted sequencing has made a breakthrough in the genomic research era. High diversity in the capsular polysaccharide (cps) locus of Streptococcus pneumoniae has hampered identification of the serotype. This study developed a new serotyping method for S.

Resistance to macrolide, tetracycline, and chloramphenicol is caused by the insertion of specific genes that carried by transposon (Tn). This study aims to analyze transposon profiling associated with macrolide, tetracycline, and chloramphenicol resistance from carriage isolates of S.

To develop an antioxidant product, improving its stability is necessary due to the perishable characteristics of compounds in lime. Therefore, the formulation of polyelectrolyte microparticles using chitosan and alginate was conducted to overcome the weaknesses.

Efforts are needed to improve pond water quality by utilizing proteolytic bacterial isolates to break down suspended or accumulated feed on the pond bottom. The research aims to find proteolytic bacterial isolates from pond sediments and the digestive tract of shrimp (<i>Litopenaeus vannamei</i>).

This study aimed to evaluate the immune response and safety to the SARS-CoV-2 protein subunit recombinant vaccine (IndoVac) as a heterologous booster dose against COVID-19 in Indonesian adolescents. This open-label prospective intervention study enrolled 150 clinically healthy adolescents aged 12-17 years who had received complete primary doses of the CoronaVac vaccine from Garuda Primary Care Centres in Bandung City.

However, using the liquid inoculum of these two microbes as a starter is impractical; so, developing an instant tempeh dry inoculum in powdered form, called the inoculum powder, for ease of use is necessary. This study aimed to determine the best concentration of instant inoculum powder to produce high-quality tempeh.
