Eu activated ZnSiO red phosphor synthesized by pyrolysis technique at 1000ºC for one hour is reported. Upon excitation by 394 nm and 464 nm, the phosphor displays a distinct red emission peaking around 614 nm, a characteristic of f-f electronic transitions involving Eu ions.Incorporating alkali metal ions such as Li, Na and K into ZnSiO:Eu phosphor led to a remarkable increase in photoluminescence (PL) intensity.

The present investigation deals with the effect of calcination temperature on the structural and thermoluminescent (TL) properties of Zn SiO materials. For this study, Zn SiO was prepared via a simple hydrothermal route and calcinated at temperatures from 700°C to 1100°C in an air atmosphere. In this work, the quasi-solid-state polymer electrolyte containing poly(vinyl alcohol)-polypyrrole as a polymer host, potassium iodide (KI), iodine (I), and different plasticizers (EC, PC, GBL, and DBP) was successfully prepared via the solution casting technique. Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR) was used to analyze the interaction between the polymer and the plasticizer.
