Background: Regadenoson is predominantly renally metabolized. Patients with severe chronic kidney disease (CKD) experience more frequent gastrointestinal adverse effects (AE) from regadenoson. Aminophylline use following regadenoson reduces the incidence of regadenoson-related AE.
