Large pedunculated polyps originating in the esophagus and hypopharynx.

Large pedunculated esophageal and hypopharyngeal polyps are uncommon. Clinical presentation most commonly includes dysphagia and mass regurgitation. If left untreated the patient may develop polyp aspiration complicated by fatal asphyxiation.
