The Effect of Evidence-Based Nutrition Clinical Care Pathways on Nutrition Outcomes in Adult Patients Receiving Non-Surgical Cancer Treatment: A Systematic Review.

Nutritional decline associated with non-surgical cancer treatment has been well documented. The implementation of an evidence-based nutrition care pathway is one approach suggested to improve the nutrition outcomes of this group of patients. We aimed to systematically review published original research to determine whether evidence-based nutrition clinical care pathways, as compared with usual care, improve outcomes for patients receiving non-surgical cancer treatment.
