Objective: Antipsychotics exhibit different profiles of efficacy and safety in patients with schizophrenia. It has recently been reported that the risk of rehospitalization was the lowest with paliperidone palmitate (PP), a long-acting injectable (LAI), when compared with other LAIs (of zuclopenthixol, perphenazine, and olanzapine).
