Prevalence of Autoimmune Diseases Among Patients With Psoriasis: A Single Tertiary Center Experience.

Background Psoriasis is a common chronic inflammatory skin disease with an autoimmune etiology. Psoriasis has been presumed to be associated with several autoimmune diseases. We sought to determine the prevalence of autoimmune diseases in patients with psoriasis in a large referral tertiary care center.

Response of the consumers to the menu calorie-labeling on online food ordering applications in Saudi Arabia.

Background: The use of online food ordering applications is widespread; however, to date, there have been no studies on the effect of the menu calorie labeling in online food ordering applications on the consumers' dietary habits and food choices in Saudi Arabia. Therefore, this study aimed to evaluate the response of the consumers to the menu energy-labeling on online food ordering applications in Saudi Arabia by exploring: (a) the consumers' preference and frequency of ordering from online food applications; (b) the consumers' self-reported knowledge, awareness, and interest towards menu calorie information on online food ordering applications; (c) the impact of menu calorie information on online food ordering applications on consumers' food choices.

Methods: This is a cross-sectional study conducted between October and November of 2022.

Nonmelanoma skin cancer in Saudi Arabia: single center experience.

Background: Skin cancer is the most common cancer worldwide; one in every three diagnosed malignancies is a skin cancer. However, skin cancer is rarely reported in Saudi Arabia so we conducted this study to highlight these underreported neoplasms.

Objectives: Determine the prevalence and patterns of basal cell carcinoma (BCC) and primary squamous cell carcinoma (SCC), the most common types of nonmelanoma skin cancer (NMSC) with respect to age, sex, and anatomic location and to identify potentially associated risk factors.
