Objective: To assess the impact of body mass index on early outcomes of coronary artery bypass grafting in terms of morbidity and mortality.
Methods: This retrospective comparative study was conducted at Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi Institute of Cardiology, Multan, Pakistan, and comprised data of patients who underwent isolated coronary artery bypass grafting from December 2007 to December 2015. Analysis of variance and chi-square test were used for analysis of groups formed on the basis of body mass index.
Background And Objectives: Modified Bentall procedure has become a gold standard in the treatment of combined aortic root and aortic valve diseases. Bleeding is an important predictor of morbidity and mortality after the Bentall operation. Our objective was to evaluate the early outcomes of Modified Button-Bentall procedure with cuff technique for aortic root replacement surgery regarding hemostasis.

Data was analysed using SPSS 16.
