  • A study was conducted to investigate socioeconomic-related inequality in poor physical activity (PPA) among Iranian adults, revealing a lack of knowledge in this area.

  • Results showed a positive Concentration index indicating a higher prevalence of PPA among individuals with higher socioeconomic status, suggesting that public health strategies should target promoting physical activity particularly within this wealthier demographic, as it disproportionately affects women and older adults.
