The study evaluated vocational integration programs in a Northern Italian town from 2004 to 2007, aiming to assess their effectiveness and identify predictors of job tenure.
Data were collected through a retrospective analysis, including user demographics and satisfaction ratings from users, caregivers, and professionals involved, highlighting overall positive sentiments towards the service but revealing lower satisfaction from companies regarding mental health collaboration.
Findings showed that 64.3% of users retained their jobs after three years, with the number of interventions before job placement being the only significant predictor of success, suggesting the need for improved integration among services for those with mental disorders.
