Diprotonic sulfuric and succinic acids react efficiently with the tertiary amine sites in polydimethylaminoethylmethacrylate (PDMAEMA) to produce polymer colloid nano-particles held together by dinegatively charged anions that cross link the partially protonated PDMAEMA homopolymer.
