The pandemic has intensified clinicians' workloads, leading to an increased incidence of adverse events and subsequent second victim syndrome, with almost half of health care clinicians experiencing its symptoms. However, following a literature review, no tools were found that addressed second victim syndrome in nurses. To address these issues and the gap in the literature, the authors developed the BONE Break hot debriefing tool.

We report hospitalisation rates and explored predictive factors for hospitalisation in adolescents and adults (10-35 years) living with PaHIV in England.
Method: Retrospective observational cohort study over a three-year period 2016-2019.
Background: Increasingly, young women living with perinatally acquired HIV (YWLPaHIV) have transitioned from paediatric to adult services. There remains a paucity of data on the sexual and reproductive health (SRH) needs of YWLPaHIV and their access to youth-friendly care. Amidst healthcare changes due to COVID-19 pandemic restrictions, we explored SRH needs of a cohort of YWLPaHIV.

Retrospective single-centre cohort analysis from; Period 1(P1) twelve months before the first national lockdown - 23rd March 2019-23rd March 2020, period 2(P2) twelve months of varied restrictions - 24th March 2020-24th March 2021. Data collected from electronic records included age, ethnicity, sex, HIV viral load (VL) (suppression ≤ 200 copies/ml), CD4 count (cells/μL), clinical events, and appointment frequency/modality.

Introduction: In inpatient behavioral health units, a long-standing behavioral management controversy has been whether to physically restrain or seclude patients. The rate of restraint use at the institution underperformed compared with the national average, which led to the project implementation.
Aims: This quality improvement project's objective was to decrease restraint and seclusion use, improve quality of care, and decrease cost through implementation of recovery model principles.
There are no published studies of fertility measurements in people living with perinatally acquired HIV (PaHIV). We performed fertility investigations in 25 adults with PaHIV. Seven (78%) men had sperm morphology normal forms (%) below the fifth centile for the general population with four (44%) having no normal forms.

Our objective with this retrospective, multi-institutional study was to describe the clinical presentation and biological behaviour of sarcoids in cats and to determine the oncologic outcome following surgical resection.

However, few data exist for adults with perinatally acquired HIV (PaHIV), who have been exposed to antiretroviral drugs and/or HIV-associated ill health through childhood and puberty. We describe a case series of infertility amongst women with PaHIV attending a London clinic between 2006 and 2017.
View Article and Find Full Text PDFAromatherapy is an integrative intervention that uses essential oils to address symptom management, potentially as a first-line intervention or as a complement to other medical treatments. Aromatherapy is gaining widespread acceptance and increased scientific evidence of efficacy. Integrative and holistic nursing care uses integrative therapies such as aromatherapy and the principle of moving from a less invasive intervention to a more invasive intervention according to patient needs, symptoms, and preferences.
