Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) is a respiratory viral illness caused by the novel severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2. Introduction Communication between healthcare providers and patients is a key component associated with the quality of healthcare and patient satisfaction. Often, simple communication skills may be insufficient to sustain a successful provider-patient relationship. The aim of this project was to assess and improve patient and nurse satisfaction with physicians via improvement in physician-patient and physician-nurse communication to a level greater than 90%.
