Bacterial and viral cutaneous infections pose a great risk of serious complications in combat athletes and contribute to a significant amount of time lost in practice and competition. Although these infections can be treated with standard antimicrobials, the rise in resistance of Staphylococcus aureus and dermatophytes calls for updated treatment recommendations. Methicillin-resistant S.

Methods: This observational study included 86 infertile women undergoing diagnostic laparoscopy, 43 of whom were diagnosed with endometriosis. Pain intensity was evaluated using the visual analog scale (VAS).
This report presents two cases of patients with long-standing, treatment-resistant Hailey-Hailey disease (HHD) who experienced significant symptom relief through a combination therapy of oral naltrexone and dupilumab injections. The therapeutic potential of targeting the Th2 pathway and Ca signaling with dupilumab in managing HHD manifestations is highlighted. The findings suggest that Th2 blockade with dupilumab, in conjunction with naltrexone, effectively controls recalcitrant HHD, indicating a role of cytokine response in altering disease pathogenesis.

Presentation Of Case: A 52-year-old man complained of right nasal obstruction for 2 weeks caused by hot metal fragments from a gas cylinder explosion 7 weeks before. The patient was diagnosed with right nasal vestibular stenosis due to nasal trauma based on physical examination and CT scan.
Introduction And Importance: Rectovaginal fistula is a complication that may occur due to rectal injury during vaginal reconstructive surgery. To prevent these complications, the recognition of the injury is an important factor so that primary repair can be done. The primary repair can reduce the risk of complications such as fistula formation, and also reduce the physical and psychological impact on the patient.

The coping mechanisms employed by these individuals to resist temptations and manage stress play a key role in the healing process. This study was conducted to explore the coping strategies or techniques that individuals with addiction use to handle stress and temptation while undergoing treatment.

Soluble CD14 (sCD14), CD163 (sCD163), and MIF serve as in vivo markers of myeloid function. However, these soluble molecules are largely unexplored in women with endometriosis-related infertility cases.

Pelvic floor muscle training (PFMT) is an effective conservative first-line treatment for SUI. However, low compliance with PFMT is one of the main reasons for therapeutic failure.

However, vaginal myomectomy cannot be safely and easily performed in all cases. We reviewed three cases of prolapsed pedunculated submucosal fibroids, each with a specific surgical difficulty.

Our study aimed to analyze the risk of endometriosis in women with a LBW history and the relationships of progesterone receptor B (PR-B) gene promoter methylation, DNA methyltransferase-1 (DNMT1) expression, PR-B expression, and vascular endothelial growth factors (VEGF) with endometriosis.
Methods: This study was conducted in two stages, a retrospective case-control design and a cross-sectional design, with 52 cases of endometriosis and 30 controls, which were further subdivided into LBW and non-LBW groups, at Hasan Sadikin General Hospital and its hospital networks from October 2017 to August 2021.
Objective: To evaluate interleukin (IL)-1β, IL-6, IL-8, and IL-12p70 levels in serum and peritoneal fluid in women related to infertility and pelvic pain.
Methods: Eighty-seven women were diagnosed with endometriosis or cases related to infertility. IL-1β, IL-6, IL-8, and IL-12p70 levels in serum and peritoneal fluid were determined by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA).
Vaginal laxity, a symptom of pelvic floor dysfunction observed in women, has many negative biological and psychological impacts. Laser treatments and stem cell-based therapies are emerging therapeutic methods for treating this condition. This study aimed to determine changes in vaginal laxity in model rats using a combination therapy of erbium-doped yttrium aluminium garnet (Er:YAG) fractional lasers and topical treatment with amniotic membrane stem cell metabolite products (AMSC-MP).

Aims: To analyze the correlation between serum kisspeptin levels, ovarian kisspeptin expression, and ovarian Bone Morphogenic Protein-15 (BMP15) expression in polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) model rats.
Methods: The research was accurate experimental research with a post-test design-only control group and was carried out from August to October 2022 at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine Universitas Airlangga.
In nanobiotechnology, the importance of controlling interactions between biological molecules and surfaces is paramount. In recent years, many devices based on nanostructured silicon materials have been presented, such as nanopores and nanochannels. However, there is still a clear lack of simple, reliable, and efficient protocols for preventing and controlling biomolecule adsorption in such structures.

This study aims to appraise the ability of transperineal ultrasound (TPUS) compared with 3D-EAUS as the gold standard to identify anal sphincter defects after primary repair of OASIS.
Methods: A systematic search of major databases to identify diagnostic accuracy of 3D-TPUS in evaluating anal sphincter defects.
Objective: Traumatic brain injury (TBI) during pregnancy is an extremely rare condition in our neurosurgical emergency practices. Studies on the epidemiology and management of TBI in pregnancy are limited to case reports or serial case reports. There is no specific guidelines of management of TBI in pregnancy yet.

Background: Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) is a syndrome characterized by ovulation disorders accompanied by hyperandrogens. Women with PCOS are prone to develop insulin resistance which has metabolic characteristics similar to type 2 diabetes and leads to disturbance of follicular formation. PCOS is also known to increase the concentration of proinflammatory cytokines, namely TNF-α.

There is a need to develop therapeutic methods to increase the success of therapy and women's quality of life.
Objective: To explore whether human freeze-dried amnion is useful as a mesenchymal stem cell scaffold for repair of vesicovaginal fistula through assessment of the proliferative and remodelling phases.
Objectives: Vaginal relaxation syndrome (VRS) comprises vaginal laxity and stress urinary incontinence (SUI). Laser vaginal tightening (LVT) therapy using a fractional erbium:yttrium aluminum garnet (Er:YAG) 2.940 nm laser may represent a nonsurgical option for both complaints.
