Kimura's disease (KD) is a chronic inflammatory disorder characterized by nontender lymphadenopathy involving the head and neck region. Renal involvement in KD is rare, especially in children. We report a 12-year-old boy who had been previously treated for classical KD and had presented with anasarca and oliguria after 4 years.

Objectives: To analyse clinical, immunological and molecular profiles of patients with DOCK8 deficiency.
Chronic granulomatous disease (CGD) is a phagocytic defect characterized by recurrent bacterial and fungal infections. We report clinical profile of patients with CGD and mycobacterial infections in a cohort from North India. A review of clinical and laboratory records was carried out for patients with CGD registered at our center between 1990 and 2021.

There is a dearth of information on impact of this pandemic on clinical care of children with CGD and psychological profile of the caretakers. Among the 101 patients with CGD followed up in our center, 5 children developed infection/complications associated with COVID-19.

Procedure: We report a child with X-linked CGD with residual NADPH oxidase activity who had an indeterminate NBT result even in the presence of classical manifestations of CGD.
Results: A 7-year-old boy presented with recurrent episodes of inflammatory colitis and septicaemia at the age of 3 years.
Background: Juvenile dermatomyositis (JDM) is the commonest inflammatory myositis in children. The clinical phenotype is often characterized by the presence of myositis-specific antibodies (MSA). Antibodies to small ubiquitin-like modifier activating enzyme (SAE) are amongst the rarest MSA reported in children.

Vasculopathy and endothelial dysfunction play significant roles in the pathogenesis of JDM. Cardiac involvement in JDM is often underestimated, and it may be a potential indicator of poor prognosis.

Aetiology of HLH can be primarily due to genetic causes or secondarily due to infections or rheumatological illness. However, rarely T-cell deficiencies like severe combined immunodeficiency (SCID) can develop HLH.

Coronavirus infections are usually mild in children. However, a few children with MERS had presented with a severe phenotype in the acute phase resulting in progressive pneumonic changes with increasing oxygen dependency and acute respiratory distress requiring ventilatory support.

With improvement in health and sanitation facilities across the globe, there has been almost a 50% reduction in mortality rate due to RHD over the last 25 years. However, recent estimates suggest that RHD still results in more than 300,000 deaths annually.

Children with KD who develop coronary artery aneurysms have a life-long risk of premature coronary artery disease. Hypothesis of inherent predisposition to KD is supported by epidemiological evidence that suggests increased risk of development of disease in certain ethnicities and in children with a previous history of KD in siblings or parents.

Methods: Data on XLA from all regional centers supported by the Foundation for Primary Immunodeficiency Diseases (FPID), USA and other institutions providing care to patients with PIDs were collated.
