Omphalocele, a congenital anomaly characterized by the protrusion of abdominal viscera through the umbilical ring, often presents challenges in surgical management, especially when concurrent with other anomalies such as intestinal atresia. We presented a case of a female infant weighing 2.6 kg born with omphalocele and concurrent ileal atresia.

Background Breast carcinoma has been the most prevalent cancer in women, with research-based evidence showing a significant rise in the incidence of cancer and related morbidity and mortality in the Indian subcontinent. The predictive value of plasmatic lactate dehydrogenase (LDH) levels has been studied in breast cancer. Numerous studies have connected high LDH values to a poor prognosis, increased risk of incidence, recurrence, and associated mortality in patients with breast carcinoma.

A very uncommon congenital defect called multi-septate gallbladder (MSG) typically results from wrinkling of the gallbladder membrane or insufficient vacuole formation of the growing bud of the gallbladder. The many septa giving MSG its honeycomb appearance cover the whole lumen of the gallbladder. MSG, hyperplastic cholecystitis, and cholecystitis are a few causes of this ultrasonography finding.
