Objectives: The aim of this study was to clinically validate a fully automated AI model for magnetic resonance imaging (MRI)-based quantifications of lumbar spinal canal stenosis.
Materials And Methods: This retrospective study included lumbar spine MRI of 100 consecutive clinical patients (56 ± 17 years; 43 females, 57 males) performed on clinical 1.5 (51 examinations) and 3 T MRI scanners (49 examinations) with heterogeneous clinical imaging protocols.
Back pain is one of the most common medical problems and is associated with high socioeconomic costs. Imaging-guided spinal injections are a minimally invasive method to evaluate where the back pain is originating from, and to treat patients with radicular pain or spinal stenosis with infiltration of corticosteroids. CT-guided spine injections are a safe procedure, characterized by precise needle placement, excellent visualization of the relevant anatomical structures, and low radiation exposure for the patient and the interventional radiologist.

Purpose: To evaluate the interreader agreement of a three-tier craniocaudal grading system for brown fat activation and investigate the accuracy of the distinction between the three grades.
Materials And Methods: After IRB approval, 340 cases were retrospectively selected from patients undergoing (18)FDG-PET/CT between 2007 and 2015 at our institution, with 85 cases in each grade and 85 controls with no active brown fat. Three readers evaluated all cases independently.
Introduction: Transfusion management of patients who are alloimmunized against high-prevalence erythrocyte antigens is often problematic. Strategy management depends, not only on the specific clinical circumstances of the patient, but also on the acceptable time frame.
