Background: Anaerobic bacterial meningitis is rare. It is extremely unusual without a portal of entry as most cases reported have been associated with trauma or neurosurgery.

Case Report: We describe this rare case of clostridium meningitis and plesiomonas sepsis in an immunocompetent adult.
