Amphotericin B (AmpB) nephrotoxicity was used to assess the utility of drug‑induced kidney injury (DIKI) biomarkers in an exploratory study in male cynomolgus monkeys. All animals had quantifiable levels of AmpB in plasma on days 1 and 4. There were no clinical signs of AmpB‑induced toxicity in this study.

The compounds described are high affinity histamine H3 antagonists. Optimization of the physical properties of these histamine H3 antagonists led to the discovery of several promising lead compounds, and extensive preclinical profiling aided in the identification of compounds with optimal duration of action for wake promoting activity.

This article describes a primary efferent duct toxicity that resulted in secondary testicular changes in rats. Male rats were administered LTI-1, a leukotriene A₄ hydrolase inhibitor, at doses up to 250 mg/kg/d for 3 month or 150 mg/kg/d for 6 month.
