Reliable, closed-chest methods for creating large animal models of acute myocardial hypoperfusion are limited. We demonstrated the feasibility and efficacy of using magnetic resonance (MR)-compatible 3D-printed coronary implants for establishing swine models of myocardial hypoperfusion.
