Purpose Of Review: While post-treatment control following interruption of standard-of-care antiretroviral therapy (ART) is well described, post-intervention control following immunotherapy in HIV cure-related clinical trials is less well understood. We provide an overview of recent studies that have identified post-intervention controllers and review the mechanisms that may drive this biologically important phenotype.
Recent Findings: Post-intervention controllers have been identified in recent immunotherapy trials testing broadly neutralizing antibodies, immune modulators, modified T cells, checkpoint inhibitors, and gene therapy administered individually or in combination.
Recent theory and research have drawn attention to interpersonal dimensions of emotion regulation. Yet, few empirical investigations of the outcomes of interpersonal emotion regulation have been conducted. We propose that one negative affective outcome of received interpersonal emotion regulation of conceptual and practical interest is shame.

View Article and Find Full Text PDFFollowing an initial discussion of control error signal generation, we present new developments and applications of automatic endless optical polarization control based on a commercial electrooptic LiNbO(3) polarization transformer: (i) Fast tracking and subsequent demultiplexing of DPSK/DQPSK/QAM polarization channels was hitherto limited to a fairly fixed optical input power. With APD photoreceivers used for residual interference detection, we demonstrate here an optical level tolerance of at least 7 dB, compared to only 3 dB for PIN photoreceivers. DPSK channel polarizations are tracked at up to 40 krad/s and higher speed on the Poincaré sphere.

The ability of using DFB lasers with SIM-OFDM in 16-QAM CO-OFDM system with 1024-point FFT has been verified. Although SIM-OFDM has lower spectral efficiency compared to the conventional CO-OFDM system, it is a good candidate for 16-QAM CO-OFDM system with 1024-point FFT which uses a DFB laser of 1 MHz linewidth.
