Aim: To compare the effect of different tapers of the K3XF file system on the fracture resistance of endodontically treated mandibular premolars obturated with a three-dimensional (3-D) obturation system.

Methodology: For the study, 80 freshly extracted human mandibular premolars with single well-developed roots without any curvatures were taken and the tooth roots were wrapped in a single layer of aluminum foil, and they were placed vertically in a plastic mold filled with self-curing acrylic resin. Aim: To evaluate the percentage of gutta-percha filled areas (PGFA) in canals obturated with guttacore system, single cone, and lateral compaction techniques.

Materials And Methods: A total of 60 single-rooted mandibular premolars were selected and randomly divided into three equal groups depending on the type of obturation technique used. The aim of this case report is to present an endodontically and esthetically managed maxillary left lateral incisor fused to a supernumerary tooth associated with a talon cusp. This case report describes a multidisciplinary approach involving endodontic and restorative considerations for a successful, functional, and esthetic rehabilitation of the fused tooth. In the present case, we have used spiral computed tomography for better understanding of the complicated root canal morphology of the fused tooth and successful management of this rare case.

Anomalies, though rare, are potential restorative and endodontic challenges. This case report presents a unique case with a bizarre combination of anomalies, including single conical unbifurcated posterior root forms, taurodontism, dens invaginatus, prominent labial lobes of the canines, pyramidal cusps of the premolars, dens evaginatii of the molar crowns, and localized reduction in tooth size involving the entire dentition without any other apparent systemic complication. On literature review, only 4 such cases were found to be reported.

We present here a case report of a tooth with an immature root with a large periapical lesion. The open apex was managed by placing an apical barrier using mineral trioxide aggregate, and the periapical lesion was treated surgically. A combination of platelet-rich plasma (PRP) and hydroxyapatite graft (HA) was used to achieve faster healing of the periapical lesion.

Invasive cervical resorption (ICR) is a relatively uncommon form of external resorption, which may occur in any tooth in the permanent dentition. Characterized by its cervical location and invasive nature, this resorptive process leads to progressive and usually destructive loss of the tooth structure, the clinical features of which often resemble internal resorption ("pink tooth"). This article describes a case report of ICR and its management.
