Cryopreservation, or the storage at liquid nitrogen temperatures (-196°C), of embryogenic cells or somatic embryos allows their long-term conservation without loss of their embryogenic capacity. During the last decade, protocols for cryopreservation of embryogenic material of woody species have been increasing in number and importance. The Boltzmann equation for -dimensional inelastic Maxwell models is considered to determine the collisional moments of the second, third and fourth degree in a granular binary mixture. These collisional moments are exactly evaluated in terms of the velocity moments of the distribution function of each species when diffusion is absent (mass flux of each species vanishes). The corresponding associated eigenvalues as well as cross coefficients are obtained as functions of the coefficients of normal restitution and the parameters of the mixture (masses, diameters and composition).

Extranodal NK/T-cell lymphoma, nasal type (ENKTCL-NT) is an aggressive malignancy associated with Epstein-Barr virus infection, with a geographic and racial predilection for some Asian and Latin American countries. ENKTCL-NT manifests as a necrotic process affecting nasal or upper aerodigestive structures and, rarely, extranasal sites such as skin, and the gastrointestinal tract. Olive somatic embryos have been successfully cryopreserved using the droplet-vitrification method on aluminum foil strips. Although acceptable recovery rates have been obtained after rewarming, the influence of this cryopreservation protocol on the somatic embryogenesis process is unknown. Hereditary gingival fibromatosis (HGF) is a rare genetic condition characterized by slow and progressive gingival enlargement.
