Objectives: To compare visual outcomes for low vision eyes (LVE) (<35 letters LogMAR or <20/200 Snellen) versus non-low vision eyes (NLVE) (>35 letters LogMAR or >20/200 Snellen) at the time of the first injection in a clinical practice setting.
Methods: Subgroup analysis of a multicenter national database of treatment- naïve eyes neovascular age related macular degeneration (nAMD) treated with anti-VEGF intravitreal injections divided into LVE and NLVE. Demographics, visual acuity (VA) at baseline and subsequent timepoints (12, 24, and 36 months), number of injections and visits data were collected using a validated web-based tool (Fight Retinal Blindness!).
Primary stromal cysts of the iris are rare, often asymptomatic, and incidentally found entities. Treatment is usually indicated in cases of enlargement or complications. However, imaging tests are required to determine their cystic nature and make an accurate differential diagnosis with malignant tumors, as well as for long-term follow-up.

Recent Findings: The heterogeneous response to hyperthermia in PSM can be explained by tumor and treatment conditions.
Purpose: The main purpose of the study was to report the estimated incidence, cumulative rate, risk factors and outcomes of submacular haemorrhage (SMH) with loss of vision in neovascular age-related macular degeneration (nAMD) receiving intravitreal injections (IVT) of vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) inhibitor in routine clinical practice.
Methods: Retrospective analysis of treatment-naïve eyes receiving IVTs of VEGF inhibitors (ranibizumab, aflibercept or bevacizumab) for nAMD from 1 January 2010 to 31 December 2020 that were tracked the Fight Retinal Blindness! registry. Estimated incidence, cumulative rate and hazard ratios (HR) of SMH with loss of vision during treatment were measured using the Poisson regression, Kaplan-Meier survival curves and Cox proportional hazard models.
Aims: To test the hypothesis that patients treated for neovascular age related macular degeneration (nAMD) with longer treatment intervals are more likely to persist with treatment.
Methods: Data were obtained from the prospectively-defined Fight Retinal Blindness! registry. Treatment interval at 2 years was stratified based on the mean treatment interval over the three visits prior to and including the 2-year visit.

Using antibodies against Toxoplasma gondii labelled with indium-113 metaestable we obtained scan of rats infested with this disease in a simple and harmless way. Also using the same antibodies, but labelled with iodine-131, we destroyed by radiolysis the toxoplasmas of experimental animals with the Medial Lethal Dose obtained "in vitro" experiments. The experimental results are very encouraging and their use in human beings are in currently research in our laboratory and will be the object of a future communication.
