Background: The coronary slow flow phenomenon (CSFP) is an angiographic finding characterized by Thrombolysis in Myocardial Infarction (TIMI)-2 flow in the absence of significant large vessel coronary disease. Although clinical and pathological features have been previously described, the underlying pathophysiology has not been fully elucidated.
