This systematic review consolidates the outcome of YI in the cancer microenvironment.

Impact of a white noise app on sleep quality among critically ill patients.

Aims And Objectives: This study aimed to measure the noise levels and evaluate the impact of a white noise app on the sleep quality of critically ill patients.

The study was conducted to determine the effects of genotype (G), environment (E), their interaction (GEI) and genetic gain on yield and grain quality traits in Turkish spring wheat cultivars released between 1964 and 2010. We conducted a multi-environment trial at three testing locations: Adana, Adapazarı, and Izmir, during the 2009, 2011 and 2013 cropping seasons and tested 35 cultivars released by the respective breeding programs. Allelic variations of high and low molecular weight glutenin subunits (HMW-GS and LMW-GS) and 1B/1R translocation was also determined and evaluated in all cultivars.

A study on risk factors of breast cancer among patients attending the tertiary care hospital, in udupi district.

Background: Cancer has become one of the ten leading causes of death in India. Breast cancer is the most common diagnosed malignancy in India, it ranks second to cervical cancer. An increasing trend in incidence is reported from various registries of national cancer registry project and now India is a country with largest estimated number of breast cancer deaths worldwide.

Multiple osteochondromatosis complicated with a popliteal artery pseudoaneurysm.

In this article, we present a 21-year-old male patient who presented with swelling and pain located to right lower thigh and knee. Physical examination and subsequent diagnostic work-up revealed a pseudoaneurysm associated with an osteochondroma at lower thigh. This complication should be considered in young patients with a mass at knee and lower thigh region.

Benign fibrous histiocytoma of the lumbar vertebrae.

Benign fibrous histiocytoma is an extremely rare spinal tumor with ten reported cases in the literature. Benign fibrous histiocytoma constitutes a diagnostic challenge because it shares common clinical symptoms, radiological characteristics, and histological features with other benign lesions involving the spine. We present a case of benign fibrous histiocytoma of the lumbar spine and discuss its differential diagnosis and management.

Dysembryoplastic neuroepithelial tumors: proton MR spectroscopy, diffusion and perfusion characteristics.

Introduction: We describe the magnetic resonance (MR) imaging characteristics of dysembryoplastic neuroepithelial tumors (DNT) and discuss their differential diagnosis.

Material And Methods: Proton MR spectroscopy (TE 30 and 136 ms), diffusion-weighted and perfusion images were retrospectively evaluated in 22 patients with pathologically proven DNT (17 male and 5 female, mean age 18.7 years) and 14 control subjects (10 male and 4 female, mean age 16.

Laparoscopic resection of a torsioned appendix epiploica in a previously appendectomized patient.

Torsion of the appendices epiploicae is a rare condition that may present with acute abdominal pain and mimics appendicitis. We report a 20-year-old previously appendectomized man presenting with right lower abdominal quadrant pain. Abdominal ultrasonography showed a localized omental thickening in the right paracolic region.

MR urography in pediatric uropathies with dilated urinary tracts.
