Sarcopenia is a progressive generalized skeletal muscle disease that is accompanied by an accelerated loss of muscle mass and function, affecting the quality of life and the ability to perform self-care. The prevalence of sarcopenia in the world today ranges from 10 to 25%, which represents a certain danger as it is a prognostic factor for possible injury and increased disability in the elderly population. Sarcopenia often accompanies a large number of different diseases, including neurodegenerative ones, so it is actively studied in this category of patients, for example, as one of the early symptoms of Parkinson's disease (PD).

Aim: To perform a retrospective analysis of carbohydrate metabolism (in terms of glycated hemoglobin - HbA), the prevalence of complications, and features of hypoglycemic and concomitant therapy in patients with type 2 DM.
Autism spectrum disorder (ASD) is becoming an increasingly common disorder of the development of the nervous system in the modern world. The diagnosis is made based on observation of the patient's behavior, which significantly complicates the diagnosis and treatment of the disorder. The subjectivity of behavioral diagnostics dictates the need for the study of biomarkers of ASD.

Despite all interventions, the behavioural and therapeutic interventions developed have demonstrated limited effectiveness in curbing the obesity epidemic. Findings from imaging studies of the brain suggest the existence of neural vulnerabilities and structural changes that are associated with the development of obesity and eating disorders.

Unlabelled: One of the main characteristics of the goal of rehabilitation after a stroke is the focus on restoring a certain level of functioning. The formation of the goal of rehabilitation and the implementation of effective rehabilitation are possible when taking into account not only the clinical diagnosis, but also the problems and possibilities of the patient in the categories of the International Classification of Functioning, Disabilities and Health (ICF).
Purpose Of The Study: To assess the types and degree of functional limitations and activity limitations in patients after ischemic and hemorrhagic strokes in the early recovery period, taking into account the type of stroke and the affected vascular pool.
Unlabelled: Sarcopenia is characterized by a progressive loss of muscle mass, strength, and function, leading to poor outcomes and reduced quality of life. In middle age, the decrease in muscle mass begins to be progressive. Bioimpedancemetry allows diagnosing this condition before the onset of clinical symptoms.

Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI)-studies have shown varying degrees of cortical atrophy, cerebral infarcts, and deep white matter lesions. To explain the relationship between DM and cognitive decline, several hypotheses have been proposed, based on the variability of glycemia leading to morphometric changes in the brain.

Flash Glucose Monitoring System - FreeStyle Libre (FSL) overcomes many of the barriers associated with glucose measurement and improves metabolic control.
Aim: To evaluate the efficacy of FSL in children with type 1 diabetes mellitus (T1DM) in terms of glycemic control, episodes of severe hypoglycemia (SH) and diabetic ketoacidosis (DKA).

Unlabelled: The multidisciplinary assessment of health problems after stroke should take into account not only motor, speech disorders, disability, but also postural balance, type and level of mental disorders, degree of working hand dysfunctions, cortical motor neuron functional indicators, and risk factors for recurrent stroke.
Objective: To develop a methodology for the integrated assessment of health problems and the effectiveness of stage rehabilitation in patients after ischemic stroke (IS) and risk factors for recurrent stroke.
Material And Methods: Examinations were made in 101 patients (mean age 59.
Background: When choosing the algorithm of rehabilitative measures, the localization of the stroke, brain reserve, and neuroplasticity as well as clinical characteristics (motor, postural, speech, cognitive impairments), etc. are taken into consideration. Monitoring the health status of the patients is an integral component of and an important condition for the successful post-stroke rehabilitation.

This article outlines the current WHO concepts of the process of rehabilitation with special reference to the consideration and the analysis of the concept of rehabilitation potential, its structure, levels, and functions of each level. The main stages and the aim of the comprehensive medical and psychological rehabilitation of the patients presenting with acute cerebrovascular accidents (ACVA) are discussed. The importance of the recoverable and reusable resources at the biological and psychological levels that may play the role of compensatory functions in the patients suffering from acute cerebral circulation disorders is emphasized.

The article presents the results of analysis of dynamics of health indicators of population of industrial town (medical demographic indicators, disability, morbidity of social hygienically important diseases) during 1970-2010. The classified administrative territorial municipality of Seversk constructed near the Siberian chemical industrial center, the internationally first-rate complex of nuclear industry enterprises was used as a research base. It is demonstrated that dynamics of health indicators of studied population had such negative tendencies as rapid population ageing, population loss due to decrease of natality and increase of mortality (population of able-bodied age included), prevalence of cardio-vascular diseases, malignant neoplasms and external causes, chronization of diseases.
